It has already seen somewhat of a boom post the Gaza war with investment rebounding and exits hitting records. This war will slow things down as so many people, many in tech, have been called into reserve duty. However there is likely to be another post war boom, at least in the tech sector, even if it takes a while to be realized. Battlefield experience of using new technologies, especially but not exclusively AI, will lead to the creation of startups using these technologies in many fields not just defence. The other important effect of this war is the unprecedented cooperation between Israel and the US on an operational level which will increase the already close ties in tech between the two countries
